ABOUT

TheRustyArm began as my journey through youth baseball with my young rusty haired baseball playing son, Lefty. Now my mission is to connect parents and players with local programs and coaches while bringing interesting and informative content to you.

One of the things I enjoy the most is speaking with coaches as well as current and former players about their paths.  What does it take to be successful and get to the next level? How as a parent, can I support Lefty?  I look forward to continuing this journey.

I hope this site helps you find information and peace of mind in this crazy world of youth sports.

imageJeff, a.k.a. Rusty, has a passion for the niche, like old school flip-up sunglasses that let you decide when you want eye protection on the field.  He also enjoys writing entertaining and informative youth sports stuff.  But mostly the flip-up sunglasses thing.
